Money

Money. What a word full of powerful emotions!! We have Osian working hard for his money...well maybe not hard, but he does earned every penny :) Today he put pennies under $100 he has saved from working. We hope to raise him in a way he can understand money and have it work for him from a young age. This last year Osian would receive $1 a week for "working" (more like playing) at grandpa's shop. He would vacuum up the spider webs, water the plants, run (or scooter, dance, skip...) papers down to Grandpas office, relay messages and greet people coming into the door. He was really good at getting grandma out of work too  :) But since we do not work at the shop any more we have Pop Can Monday now. PCM is where we take the cans we get from various donation sites (home, EFS, Usher, Family, and friends) and return them for Cash. Osian does all the work. He sorts them, puts them in the right machine and pushes the button for the receipt (that's his fave). Then he goes up to the cashier and talks to them (he's good at that haha) and gets his money! Bank time... we take it to the bank and deposit it into his account. He gets 10% of his earnings to go to what ever he wants. Hummm...leads me to the thought that we should teach him about tithe now... Well Happy Savings to you all!!!
